and Modifications Project Team |

| The project develops tools and resources
to support Exceptional Student Education (ESE) in Florida, in
the form of publications for teachers and parents, CD-ROMs,
technical assistance for school districts, and a website of
teaching resources. The books and manuals cover Standards for
Special Diploma, Course Descriptions for ESE Grades 6-12, and
lesson planning. Other materials address media selection and
curriculum mapping, accommodations for students, instructional
materials, diploma choices, and suggested elementary performance
objectives. Replicable training packages about accommodations
and modifications have been developed. Funded by the Florida
Department of Education, Bureau of Instructional Support and
Community Services, through the Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA), Part B. |

Florida's Grade 6-12 Course Descriptions for Basic Education
with the Sunshine State Standards. Products include printed
copies of the courses, a searchable CD-ROM of all courses, and
PDF versions for posting to the Florida Department of Education
website. Funded by the Florida Department of Education, Bureau
of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. |

| The Florida Inclusion Network (FIN) provides
technical assistance designed to increase and interaction between
children with disabilities and their typical peers. Eligible
service recipients include schools, districts, families, agencies,
and community organizations. Assistance can take the form of
Administrative Services or Regional Facilitation. |
