Electronic Professional Development
The Accommodations and Modifications for Students with Disabilities Project is pleased to offer a series of online courses that provide easy-to-use, accessible professional development for Florida educators and others who wish to learn about working with students with disabilities. These self-paced classes are offered free of charge through the Electronic Professional Development (EPD) learning management system. Educators who successfully complete an EPD course and required follow-up activities may request inservice points from their local school district.

Directions for Accessing the EPD Online Courses
- To create a user account, go to http://portal.epdflorida.org/login.aspx
- Click on Register for an Account on the left side of the screen.
- Fill in the user profile form and click Save. You will then be sent an email asking to activate your account. (Note: If the network doesn’t respond immediately with the activation e-mail, please keep checking.)
- Click on the activation link in the e-mail to complete your registration and activate your account. The login screen will appear.
- Log in to your account.
- Click on My Profile on the left side of the screen.
- Click My Enrolled Courses. Check Launch to begin the course. You will find helpful information about navigation and follow-up requirements in the Getting Started section of the course.
- Once you are registered for an account, you may select another courses by clicking on Go to Course Catalog on your home page.
