Partial Requirements

Summary:

This page presents information about the type of student who may be able to achieve partial requirements of Career and Technical Education Programs and gives examples of this type of modification.

Students who require modifications in requirements are those who the IEP team decides will not be able to master all of the Career and Technical Education Program Outcomes.

Examples of modifications in the area of changes to requirements include:

• A high school student may use modified occupational completion points (MOCPs) to complete a program that prepares him or her to be a carpenter’s assistant, rather than a master carpenter.
