The Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) measure skills and standards important across the curriculum. Content assessed includes reading comprehension, vocabulary, word analysis, listening, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and information sources for students in kindergarten through grade 8. The Iowa Test of Educational Development (ITED) is a group-administered high school achievement test battery to assess academic skills that represent the long-term goals of secondary education, particulary the critical thinking skills of analysis and evaluation.
