What is TREE?

TREE is a joint effort of the Florida Department of Education's Bureau of Instructional Support and Community Services and the Florida State University's Center for Performance Technology. A multi-year effort, the goal of the project is to design, develop, test, implement, and disseminate an electronic performance support system for instructional staff of exceptional education students in Florida's public school system.

TREE was designed and developed with the participation of Florida school districts and exceptional education professionals throughout Florida. TREE represents the first significant instance of performance centered designed software in public education.

The purpose of this web site is to provide teachers and staff in Florida's public schools, as well as any individual who visits this page, with resources on exceptional education. We hope you will find this information useful. Please provide us with any feedback you have on the site.
