Partial Requirements

This page presents information about the type of student who may be eligible to achieve partial requirements of Career and Technical Education Programs, and gives an example of this type of modification.

Students who require modifications in requirements are those who the IEP team decides will not be able to master all of the Career and Technical Education Program Outcomes.

Examples of modifications in the area of changes to Career and Technical Education Program requirements include:

• A high school student may use modified occupational completion points (MOCPs) to complete a program. For example a modified program may be created to prepare the student to work as a carpenter's helper, rather than a carpenter.
